The Packaging Regulation: what is changing?
The Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR, EU 2025/40) replaces the old Packaging Directive and sets stricter requirements for recyclability, reuse, labelling and minimisation of packaging. The requirements are introduced in phases from 2026.
